Does your headline grab the readers attention and compel them to read further? It is essential that your headline can do that. Web surfers generally move about on the internet very quickly. Research says ”that you have a matter of seconds to catch your website readers’’ attention, or they will move on. That is why your headline is so important.

Know what the sole purpose of your blog/web site is going to be about…

Most won’t have a clear plan on their blogging. You need to know what your blog is going to do. For example, are you going to be selling a book? Selling affiliate products? Selling an opt-in? Or is it a blog to build your status? Yes, web sites can have more than one purpose, but you need one MAIN goal.

Find a niche product or service you are passionate about, and truly believe in.

This will greatly improve your chances of being successful. Why? Because it’s the only way you’re going to be able to devote the kind of time and effort to create a meaningful blog, build up the right traffic, generate worthwhile income, and enjoy what you’re doing

Choose a niche product or service you are knowledgeable about… Or at least know people who are!

Reflect on what skills, hobbies or products you know the most about. If you don’t have the knowledge yet, then choose a niche product that you would love to promote, then spend the necessary time to research it, so you can eventually become an expert in your marketing niche
